Astragalus Root, known as Huang Qi in traditional Chinese medicine, has been used for thousands of years and is one of the most revered botanicals in that ancient healing practice owing to its high adaptogenic properties. Astragalus Root's reputation includes antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory, immune regulation and support, anti-aging, brain health, skin healing, and adrenal support. 

Because Astragalus is a potent adaptogen, it's thought to modulate the production and response of stress hormones, including cortisol. Similar to the properties of ashwagandha root, astragalus may potentially reduce high cortisol levels, and help mitigate stress's physical and psychological impacts. While astragalus root is not technically a stimulant, it's been reported that its adaptogen properties can reduce feelings of fatigue.

Suggested Use: Use one teaspoon of the cut and sifted dried botanical as a tea. Cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, according to your desire and taste. Roots may be steeped longer than flowers. Strain and enjoy hot or cold daily, with or without your preferred sweetener. Its small cut and sifted form makes it easy to use in teas and tinctures.
