Description: This traditional blend of exotic spices from Southern Asia can stand all on its own. Chai has become increasingly popular, well known for its delicious warmth and satisfying variety of tastes. On a cool day, enjoy this yummy classic piping hot with cream and sugar or all on its own. Try it over ice for a refreshing treat on a hot day. Or if you’re like us, enjoy iced chai on a cold day!  And like the "Chai This! Cosmic Chai Tea", our herbal chai blend has naturally occurring antioxidants! *

Flavor Profile: Inspiring a celestial calm, and soothing to the soul, this blend brings spicy, invigorating aromas of cinnamon, cloves, and pepper, with warm undertones of uplifting ginger root and cardamom seeds. Naturally sweet, spicy, and snappy essences tantalize the palette! Our Chai That! herbs and spice blend contain no leaves from the plant Camellia sinensis — aka "tea", making it the perfect naturally decaffeinated herbal Chai.

Ingredients: Proprietary blend of 100% Certified Organic: Cinnamon Chips (Cinnamomum cassia), Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale), Cardamon Pods, Green (Elettaria cardamomum), Allspice (Pimenta dioica), Clove Buds (Syzygium aromaticum), Black Peppercorn (Piper nigrum).

Cautions: Keep away from children.

Before using: It’s always a good idea to consult a health care provider before use if you may be pregnant or are nursing, have allergies, or medical conditions, or are taking medications. Naturally caffeinated. Keep away from children. *Statements not evaluated by the FDA.

Brewing a good cup of herbal tisane/tea: Brew hot or cold! The longer you steep the herbs, the more the tannins will be released (that’s the bitter taste). We prefer to add more herbs to the cup/container, rather than steeping too long. Experiment to find YOUR preferred steeping time.

Hot Brew: place the desired amount of loose-leaf herbs in a cup or teapot, and pour hot water over the herbs to keep all the good aromatics inside! Cover the container and steep for 3 to 15 minutes (to your desired taste). Do not use boiling water, just nice hot water. Once steeped, strain with an infuser and enjoy!

Cold Brew: Place herbs in a glass jar or other suitable container, and pour cold or room temperature water. Cover the container and leave it on your sink for up to 30 minutes, for “sink tea”. Or place covered in your refrigerator for up to 2 hours. Strain with a tea infuser and enjoy!
