Size: 3.5 oz (101g), loose-leaf botanicals

Serving size: 1 rounded teaspoon (2-4 grams)

Servings per pouch: Up to 52 servings, less if you prefer a larger amount of herbs for your brew

Description: Mother Nature’s muscle relaxer and pain relief! Our 100% Certified Organic botanical blend includes a powerful grouping of roots and herbs, so brew longer than you would a delicate tea/tisane. We find the longer brew to remain smooth and soothing, not bitter. Enjoy hot or cold while you let your muscles and pain relax and unwind. Caution: It may cause drowsiness, so use it carefully if you plan to drive or operate machinery. We LOVE this tisane! *

Flavor Profile: Warm top notes of nurturing roots. Bringing to mind warm forest woods, with softer undertones of meadow flowers and a touch of spice.

Ingredients: Proprietary blend of 100% Certified Organic: Cramp Bark (Viburnum opulus)**, White Willow Bark (Salix alba)**, Wood Betony Herb (Stachys officinalis, Black Cohosh Root (Cimicifuga racemose)**, Lemon Balm Leaf (Melissa officinalis), Devils Claw Root (Harpagophytum procumbens)**, Chamomile Flower (Matricaria recutita), Cinnamon Chips (Cinnamomum verum), Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale), Peppermint Leaf (Viburnum opulus).

Cautions: Consult a physician before using it if you are pregnant. Do not use it if you are nursing. Keep away from children.

Black Cohosh**: Use with caution if there is a history of a hormone-driven condition or a sensitivity to aspirin.

Cramp Bark**: Use with caution if you also take pharmaceutical medications to lower blood pressure.

Devils Claw Root**: Do not use if you may have ulcer disease. Check with your physician before using this herb if you have a history of gallstones or peptic ulcers, or if you take anticoagulants such as warfarin.

White Willow Bark**: Use with caution if you are sensitive to aspirin or other salicylate-containing drugs, may have ulcers, or may have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.

Before using: It’s always a good idea to consult a health care provider before use if you may be pregnant or are nursing, have allergies or medical conditions, or are taking medications.  *Statements not evaluated by the FDA.

Brewing a good cup of herbal tisane/tea: Brew hot or cold! The longer you steep the herbs, the more the tannins will be released (that’s the bitter taste). We prefer to add more herbs to the cup/container rather than steeping too long. Experiment to find YOUR preferred steeping time.

Hot Brew: Place the desired amount of loose-leaf herbs in a cup or teapot, and pour hot water over them to keep all the good aromatics inside! Cover the container and steep for 3 to 15 minutes (to your desired taste). Do not use boiling water, just nice hot water. Once steeped, strain with an infuser and enjoy!

Cold Brew: Place herbs in a glass jar or other suitable container and pour cold or room-temperature water over them. Cover the container and either leave it on your sink for up to 30 minutes for “sink tea” or place it covered in your refrigerator for up to 2 hours. Strain with a tea infuser and enjoy!
